Despite the efforts to reduce costs and increase revenues, in 2012 the number of profitable airports dropped from eleven to eight.Thus, the only profitable airports where Bilbao, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Valencia, Tenerife South, Seville, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca.
